Christmas Ornament Supplies

  • Willow Sticks
  • Hay
  • Hot Glue
  • First, I collected what I thought I would approximately need.

I used wire cutters to cut down the sticks to create a triangle of sticks.

Hot glue each piece perpendicularly down the vertical stick. Start from the top and space them out evenly.

Next, I hot glued one end of the hay to the back of the tree and then wrapped it around where the sticks intersected. Cross the wraps to create an “x” hot glue the other end to the back as well. Repeat this on each stick.

Create a loop with a piece of hay, and hot glue it to the top back of the ornament.

Hot glue a star sequin to the top of the stick tree.

These are really cute, Olivia! I'm going to keep this idea in mind for next year because they really tie into my simple woodland theme.

What a wonderful idea to use items from nature to decorate your Christmas tree. Merry Christmas, Kippi

I like the quiet simplicity of these ornaments. When it's time to prune the fruit trees, I will have plenty of sticks for this project!
