First thing to do for the rocket is to make it’s top. Cut out a circle 6in. in diameter, or more or less according to preference, from construction paper.

To cover the tube, I put down a line of hot glue and lined it up with the edge of the piece of construction paper.

Then I hot glued the cone to the top.

To decorate I cut a length of several ribbons and trims that I hot glued down. I also used hot glue to attach the “USA”.

For the fins, I folded over some card stock and cut a triangle, which I hot glued onto the rocket at the bottom.
